Day Nine – September 10, 2021 – Cooke City, MT – Yellowstone – Grand Tetons – Alta, WY

Leaving Cooke City, MT early, it was a very short trip to the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone.

Why did the buffalo cross the road… Apparently because he wanted to.  Who would stop him?

At the Visitor’s Center they have a few resident elk.

There are not many places in the world where you can drive up on an active geyser.

And, of course, you cannot say you’ve been to Yellowstone if you haven’t visited “Old Faithful”.

We had to wait for about 45 minutes for the next eruption of Old Faithful.  Here’s some of the action.

Believe it or not… while we were at Yellowstone ANOTHER tire problem came up. One of the Corvettes developed serious wear on both front tires and they had to leave the park to find new tires.

What are the chances???

Headed south out of Yellowstone we entered the Grand Tetons.

And we rolled through Jackson Hole, WY on our way to the hotels in Driggs, ID and Alta, WY.
