Serving the Community through Charities, Education, and the Preservation of Corvettes, Past, Present, and Future. Amarillo Area Corvette Club P.O. Box 2201 Amarillo, TX 79105-2201
Day One – September 2, 2021 Amarillo to Sidney, Nebraska
The adventure begins! Eleven Corvettes and a GMC Yukon leave Amarillo, TX headed for the Mt. Rushmore and More trip.
And… of course… it was raining early that morning.
First Stop – Stratford, TX at the workplace of Chuck and Angela Harbour where we add the 12th Corvette to our group.
Here we have a brief rest stop (Remember “Rest Stop” and “Potty Stop” are synonymous terms).
Here we are… 27 Intrepid travelers… off to find sights, sounds, scenery, and sanity (away from the four-walls of quarantine).
After a rest stop, re-fueling and lunch at Lamar, Colorado, we discovered just how many male Corvette owners it takes to change the battery in a Corvette Key Fob.
