Now these are hard to find in this condition! This is a very nice Japanese WWII Type 89 Combustion Time Fuse, complete with it's protective tin cover and metal case. The fuse is even clearly dated on the nose portion with 9 . This marking is written right to left, and would be read: SHOWA (current reigning emperor) Juu Nana Nen (17th year of reign 1942) 9th month (September). This is the type of fuse that was used
