Authentic Models SOPWITH CAMEL, TRANSPARENT Flugzeugmodell Heißluftballon 0 cm wide and 40Die Sopwith Camel, gebaut von der Sopwith Aviation Company, war ein britisches Jagdflugzeug im Ersten Weltkrieg. Mit 1294 Abschssen gilt der Doppeldecker als erfolgreichster seiner Zeit. Die ursprngliche Werksbezeichnung lautete Sopwith Biplane F1, aufgrund der beiden Maschinengewehrhcker bekam das Flugzeug jedoch schnell den Spitznamen Camel, welcher im Laufe der Zeit zur offiziellen Bezeichnung wurde. Der Erstflug der Camel fand um 1916 1917 statt.
